Jonathan Openshaw

Jonathan Openshaw is a writer and author who has contributed to the culture and design pages of Monocle, Wallpaper* and the Financial Times, among others. As well as writing about art and design, he has been making ceramics for over ten years, now operating out of a studio in South London. He has a particular interest in how traditional craft techniques intersect with the industrial and digital age, having written a book with Frame/ Thames & Hudson on the subject (Postdigital Artisans, 2015). He has worked in international ceramics studios from San Francisco to Marrakech.
