Max Frommeld is a design studio who generates functional and efficient design solutions.
As a designer, Max has always wanted to influence people’s daily routines by enhancing the various things we use and live with. Max comes from a tradition of working directly with materials and manufacturing processes.
Growing up in Ulm, Germany, a region with a legacy of industrial design and manufacturing, encouraged his interest in making and problem solving.
Max moved to England in 2004 to study product and furniture design at Ravensbourne College of Art and Design. After graduating with a BA Honors he worked in Product Development at Nils Holger Moormann furniture company in Aschau, Germany. In 2011, he graduated with an MA in design products from the Royal College of Art in London.
Max currently lives and works in London.
